I've had cameras as long as i can remember
When I was in elementary school I wanted to grow up to be a Nat Geo photographer. I quickly discovered I'm way too extroverted and don't have the patience to wait around in the wilderness all day. I'm definitely more into the fast paced candid style of the wedding world. I've worked a little bit of practically every job and fine tuned my works-best-under-pressure skills. Somehow photography followed me everywhere. From tearing through disposables, to collecting digicam after digicam, to planning photoshoots with my friends in high school, to curating my instagram, to taking photos of my friends, I've found my home in wedding photography.

I've been with Rockey 14 years this year. We have two cats we're crazy obsessed with and a toddler that runs our household. I grew up in Central Florida but I came to North Florida for school, met a boy & stayed a while. But I'm the type of person that really can't stay in one place for long. I've practiced music my whole life, a decade in choir and piano lessons on & off. I love to read and watch movies and firmly believe talking about media is important anthropological work. I love to cook and being in the kitchen is my respite of choice. (As long as someone else is doing the dishes)
